May 21 ComplaintsFirstly, Friday saw the anniversary of me doing my cruciate ligaments in at kaski, cant believe its been a year. dunt time fly when your not having fun!!
It been an excellent weekend this weekend, for various different reasons. Started off in Morrisons Friday afternoon after work. Putting my Tesco experience into practice, i knew that by law if a ticket displays a certain price you get it for that price, even if there is a huge difference in price. I embarassed me mother, but if i know im right im right. so i ended up getting the equivalant of a finest pork pie for 39 p. the saving of a couple of quid. should have seen the womans face when i quoted all my shpiel to her. Friday night, i went to the Latics awards dinner with the footy lads, cracking night, although the fact the lager tasted like cat piss meant i was on loopy juice all night. this inturn affected near enough every sense i have, including my common sense. I still maintain if he hadnt taken the piss he would have got paid.
i was so intoxicated, i tried getting a piggy back off kidders (i think) and ended up on my rear end infront of everyone, including a group of girls who took great pleasure at my expense. i was bad. by all accounts, byrnesey recons i hugged her and was calling me for some reason, but i have been reliably informed now that it wasnt byrnsey anyway, it was lindsey, byrnsey was just taking the piss out of a poor bloke with a hangover on msn. Who will forget Macca and his jacket over the arm incident.
Saturday morning comes and i woke up relatively early, about eight, but couldnt be bothered moving, so i just lay there. after saying that thoughi wasnt too bad hangover wise, just knackered. got out of my pit about 12, and did nothing of note all day, few convos with people via msn and text. decided to go bowling with kidders melia and sarah sat night. must say a big thank you to byrnsey tho. i owe you one.
Picked them all up and headed to bury pilsworth. i spent many an evening bowling in my mcdonalds days and boy could you tell. i played really badly by my standards, but i still wiped the floor with the challengers, winning both games. i usually reach the lofty heights of at least 150, but i struggled in both games tonight managing 124 and 114. correct me if im wrong but i dont think anyone else got over 100. GOD IM GOOD!!!
the evening will be better remembered for my insistance on complaining. im sorry, but if i ask for a burger without lettuce i expect a burger without lettuce, and when i go back to complain, i dont expect him to scrape it off and give it me back cold. you would think he would take the trouble to take every shred off it. it was comical. you had to be there. went to pizza hut after, and melia was fixated with some chavs who he was adamant wanted to nick my car. twenty minutes we sat there waiting and twenty minutes he stared out of the window saying things like "we will be walking home" and "HES ON YOUR BONNET". Finally got our food, and the moment i said "these wedges are cold", all their faces dropped. they were actually freezing and i had every right to go back and complain, but we were in the car by this point and i couldnt be arsed.
Dropped Gaz and Sarah off and went to Tara in Shaw for one. A male duo called Show piece or summat were on to the delight of all five people who were watching them . seriously, how down hill has tara gone in recent years? hope it picks up for the world cup cos a full tara is the best place to watch footy, what with all the screens and the eye candy behind the bar.
Right, i dont usually do this, but anyone who watches Lost must know, The Third Policeman is one hell of a book. Its a really warped book, starts with some bloke killing a rich dude with a bike pump, and then the bloke returning to life and refusing to say anything positive. as a book on its own its weird, but if you look deeply into the words the parallels with the tv show are spooky. Havent quite finished it yet, but if your a fan of Lost, this is a must read.
I origionally wanted to go and see the DaVinci Code at the flicks, but ive heard some bad reviews, both from the press and people who have already seen it. Dont know if ill bother now.
Reet im off now, leave a comment if ya wish. Comments (2)
